VIP GROW is a 3-day, 27-hour comprehensive certification program designed for veteran-owned small businesses to increase their ability to win government contracts. Facilitated by subject matter experts, participants receive hands-on market-based instruction that helps establish best business practices for Federal government contracting.

Since the program launched in 2009, 880 Veteran-Owned Small Businesses have graduated from VIP GROW.

Curriculum

There are over 20 topics taught by highly experienced industry and government professionals with a focus on accelerating your growth through best business practices. Examples include:

• Reducing risk to veteran-owned companies, their customers, and teaming partners
• Accounting/Budgets/Developing Rates
• ComplianceContracting – Teaming, Joint Ventures, RFI
• Financing/Capital Management
• Human Resources
• Insurance
• Marketing – Proposals & Capture Management
• Program Management/Internal Controls

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible to participate in VIP GROW, applicants must be

• Be an owner, principal, or C-level executive for a Veteran-owned small business
• Have been in business for at least 2 years, with at least 3 full-time employees
• Have experience performing on Federal government contracts as a prime and/or sub-contractor to a prime
• Have a live website
• Company must be registered in the Federal Contractor Registry also known as System for Award Management (SAM.gov)

Attendance Requirement
Attendance is required to graduate from the program. If a participant misses more than 3 hours total, their enrollment in the program will be terminated, and they will be charged the cancellation fee.

Cancellation Policy
Upon acceptance into the VIP Program, participants must provide a credit card to secure their spot. VIP participants will not be charged for services outlined above. The credit card will only be used if the VIP participant cancels their participation in the program after the date that is noted in their acceptance email. Cancelations must be received in writing to bashe@mcccmd.com. Charges are $500 for day package participants and $1000 for overnight participants.

The unauthorized use of audio or video equipment is not permitted at any VIP session.
